Terms of use
Last updated 28 October 2026
By using the SwipeByte app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use SwipeByte.
What SwipeByte is
SwipeByte is a free daily deck of tech and AI news, tools and open-source projects. Each card is a short summary of something published elsewhere, with a link to the original and credit to who made and shared it.
The content on cards
- Articles, projects, names and images belong to their creators. We link to and credit them, and summarise them in our own words.
- Summaries are written with the help of AI and can contain mistakes. Check the original before relying on anything, especially before installing software or making decisions.
- A card isn’t an endorsement. Tools and repositories are made by third parties; use them at your own risk.
- If you created something on a card and want it changed or removed, email hello@swipebyte.app.
Sponsored cards
Some decks include one card paid for by a brand. It’s always marked “Sponsored”. The sponsor is responsible for its own product and claims.
Your account
- You can use SwipeByte as a guest or sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time (see the deletion page).
Fair use
Don’t misuse SwipeByte: no attempts to break, overload or get around its security, no scraping, and no sending abusive or unlawful feedback. We may suspend accounts that do.
No warranty
SwipeByte is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free or complete. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from using it or from relying on its content.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll say so in the app. Continuing to use SwipeByte means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
